Another aspect is: for long time, I’m a big fun of the non-blocking online processing. That is why I use Ratpack Framework for almost any of my server side projects. That was my motivation to build Spark Job Server. It’s goal is to provide simple, non-blocking, REST API for deployment and execution of diverse Spark jobs.
